About Ruby

With 3 years of experience, I specialize in teaching Math to high school and college students, helping them build strong foundations and excel in their studies. My approach is rooted in personalized learning, tailoring each lesson to the unique needs and learning styles of my students. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed in Math, and my goal is to unlock that potential by making complex concepts more accessible and engaging. I focus on creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and explore solutions creatively. By breaking down difficult topics into manageable steps, I ensure students gain both confidence and a deep understanding of the subject. In addition to Math, I am skilled in teaching related subjects such as calculus, algebra, and statistics, allowing me to offer a comprehensive learning experience. My dedication to fostering a positive, results-driven environment has helped over 300 students reach their academic goals and gain a lasting appreciation for Math.

My teaching methodology for Maths is centered around creativity, communication, empathy, and integrity. I believe that Maths is not just about formulas, but about developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I encourage creative approaches to solving problems, helping students think outside the box and find solutions in unique ways.

Clear communication is key in my sessions. I break down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, ensuring that each student grasps the fundamentals before moving on to more advanced topics. Empathy plays a vital role in my teaching—I understand that every student learns at their own pace, so I adapt my approach to meet individual needs and learning styles.

Above all, I prioritize integrity in my lessons, fostering a supportive, honest environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes. In addition to Maths, I offer tutoring in related subjects, ensuring a well-rounded academic experience. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically but also to develop a genuine love for learning.
