About Dora
I am a friendly, dedicated second year Civil and Structural Engineering student at the University of Sheffield and have lots of tutoring experience. After finishing my A-levels and before I worked as an Au-Pair in Germany, I worked at Mathnaisum for 6 months, a maths tutoring centre, where I recieved over 20 hours of training for maths tutoring. At Mathnasium, I worked with a range of students from the age of 5-16 covering all areas of maths from the basics to GCSE. I have also done weekly online private tutoring for year 7 science, where I tailored the sessions to the student's needs through covering content they were struggling with and helping the student to complete practice questions. As well as this, I have done online tutoring for GCSE maths and chemistry where the student specified certain topics they wanted to cover. Based on this, I prepared sessions for the student which covered the concepts and included lots of exam questions in order to prepare them for their upcoming GCSE exams.
