About Ruby
I am a current student at University and have a passion for teaching and education. I enjoy making sessions something that students enjoy and feel assured in, as opposed to being scared of learning and making mistakes. I prefer online teaching as it means the student can be comfortable and approach the session with ease. I am 20, turning 21 soon and love relaxing with my dog and fitness too!

A one-hour lesson is the most effective format, as it provides sufficient time to explore topics in depth, establish the foundational concepts within the curriculum, and work through questions with guidance as you develop your understanding.
I have four years of tutoring experience in both private and company-based settings, working with students of all ages up to GCSE level (age 16). My approach is personalised and structured, focusing on identifying areas of weakness or concern and then building confidence through clear explanations, guided practice, and independent application.
I hold an A-Level in Mathematics and achieved an A* in GCSE Mathematics, alongside consistently high grades across my other subjects. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment that helps students strengthen their understanding, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve their academic goals.
