About Naveed

I am a dedicated and experienced tutor with a BA (Hons) in Accountancy and over 20 years of experience supporting students in their academic journeys. Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of learners, helping them improve not only their academic performance but also their confidence and attitude towards learning.
I am passionate about teaching because I believe that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right guidance and encouragement. Seeing students progress, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals is what motivates me. I take pride in creating a professional, supportive, and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable, valued, and motivated to do their best.
My approach is focused on building confidence, developing strong core skills, and fostering a positive mindset, ensuring students are equipped for both exams and future learning. Parents can feel reassured that I am committed, reliable, and focused on delivering high-quality tuition that makes a real difference.

About the lesson

I take a patient, personalised approach, tailoring each lesson to suit the individual needs and learning style of every student. I focus on building strong foundations in Maths and English by simplifying complex topics and encouraging active participation. My teaching is inclusive, supportive, and motivating, helping students gain confidence, develop independence, and reach their full potential. I also incorporate exam techniques and structured practice to ensure success, particularly for 11+ preparation.
Lesson Structure
Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, combining review, clear explanations, guided practice, and feedback to track progress and reinforce learning.
Qualifications & Experience
BA (Hons) Accountancy Graduate with over 20 years’ experience as a personal tutor, working with a wide range of learners and helping them achieve strong academic progress and confidence.
Who I Teach
I teach students aged 7–13 (KS2 & KS3, including 11+ preparation), as well as adult learners studying English as a Foreign Language (EFL).
