About Vasily
Hello, my name is Vasily, and I am a professional Mathematics and Physics tutor with more than 16 years of teaching experience. I have a strong academic background and have completed additional teacher training and advanced professional programs at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT).
Throughout my career, I have helped students improve their school performance, prepare for final and entrance examinations, and succeed in demanding Mathematics and Physics Olympiads. Some of my students have become prize-winners and finalists in national-level competitions.
I enjoy showing students that even difficult topics can become clear when they are explained logically and step by step. I am patient, organized and supportive, while maintaining high academic standards. My goal is to help every student gain confidence, develop independent thinking and achieve measurable progress.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s school syllabus, current level and academic goals. For students in Singapore, lessons can be aligned with PSLE Mathematics, Singapore-Cambridge O-Level/SEC Mathematics and Physics, A-Level Mathematics and Physics, the Integrated Programme (IP), or Mathematics and Physics Olympiad preparation.
I begin by identifying the student’s strengths and knowledge gaps, then create a clear individual study plan. During each 60-minute online lesson, I explain concepts in simple language, work through exam-style and challenging problems, and teach students how to find solutions independently. Homework and detailed feedback are provided when needed.
I teach students aged 10–18, from those who need to strengthen their foundations and improve school results to advanced students preparing for examinations, university admission and Olympiads.
I have more than 16 years of teaching experience. My students have achieved excellent examination results and become prize-winners and finalists in national-level Mathematics and Physics Olympiads. My goal is to improve grades while developing logical thinking, confidence and strong problem-solving skills.
