About Ree

Hello! My name is Ree :) I love teaching because I enjoy helping students discover how learning can be both fun and rewarding. I take pride in tailoring lessons to each student’s needs, aiming to build confidence, spark curiosity, and make learning engaging and meaningful. It's fun to learn new things! About the lesson

TEACHING METHODOLOGY:

I begin by understanding the student’s current level and identifying any gaps that need to be addressed. Meetings with parents or students prior to the first lesson are more than welcome :)

From there, I tailor lessons to help students understand concepts and ideas clearly through guided explanations, practice, and regular feedback. Small tests may be provided to ensure students fully grasp each topic, or upon the parent’s or student’s request.

I also provide updates on the student’s progress and areas for improvement so parents can stay informed about their child’s development.

For Maths, I focus on problem-solving and critical thinking to strengthen students’ understanding. For English, I specialise in phonics and building strong reading and communication skills.

Want to improve your speaking skills? I also offer relaxed English conversation sessions at a discounted rate (online only).

LESSON DURATION:

Lessons are typically 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s level, subjects, and learning needs. The duration can be adjusted to suit the student’s preferences.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

I achieved straight A*/As in my IGCSEs and have experience as a Maths and English tuition teacher for students from kindergarten to secondary school. I also achieved an overall band score of 8.5 in IELTS.

My lessons are suitable for students who need help improving their fundamentals, catching up in school, or expanding their Maths and English knowledge beyond the school syllabus.

I usually teach students from kindergarten to secondary school, but I am also open to teaching other levels upon request! Feel free to reach out :)

Prices displayed are base rates for lower primary levels. Rates will be adjusted based on subject complexity and student level.

Transport fees may apply if the student’s home is outside my coverage area.
