About Solomon
My name is Solomon Okechukwu, and I am a graduate of Mathematics and Science Education, professionally trained in both Mathematics and effective teaching methodologies. I am from Nigeria and have several years of experience teaching Mathematics in both primary and secondary schools.
Over the years, I have attended various professional training programs and seminars that have strengthened my classroom management skills and improved my ability to deliver lessons in a clear and simplified manner. I have also earned multiple certifications in teaching practice and educational development.
I have successfully prepared students for a wide range of examinations, including Entrance Examinations, WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and IB. In addition, I provide support in Physics to help students strengthen their overall performance in science-related subjects.
I am a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to helping students succeed by ensuring they develop a deep understanding of concepts rather than rote learning. My teaching approach includes clear explanations, step-by-step problem solving, regular classwork, assignments, and continuous feedback. I also conduct periodic assessments and revision tests to track progress and address learning gaps effectively.
My lessons are flexible and can be delivered through Google Meet, Zoom, and Google Classroom, as well as in-person (physical) sessions depending on the student’s preference and location.
My goal is to build confidence in every student and guide them towards academic excellence through structured, patient, and result-oriented teaching.

I adopt a simple, structured and student-centered teaching approach that helps learners understand Mathematics clearly and build strong confidence in problem-solving. My lessons typically last between 1 to 2 hours depending on the student’s level and learning needs.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Science Education and have over 10 years of teaching experience, supported by multiple teaching certifications and training programmes. I have successfully prepared students for Entrance Examinations, WAEC, NECO, Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE and IB.
My lessons are designed for learners aged 6 to 18, including primary school pupils (6–11), junior secondary students (12–14), senior secondary students (15–18), as well as beginners who need extra support in Mathematics. I also provide guidance in Physics and introduce interested students to basic Data Analytics using Excel and Python.
