About Jacinta
I’m a calm, supportive, and experienced mathematics tutor who genuinely believes that every student can succeed with the right guidance. I know that maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, so my first priority is helping students feel comfortable, understood, and capable. When learners gain confidence, their progress follows naturally.
I bring both strong academic knowledge and real classroom experience to my tutoring. With an advanced background in mathematics and years of teaching and supporting secondary school students, I understand not only what to teach, but how to explain it in ways that make sense. I’m familiar with UK exam expectations and help students develop clear methods, strong problem-solving skills, and effective exam techniques.
Professionalism is very important to me. My lessons are well-prepared, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I communicate clearly with both students and parents, set realistic goals, and provide regular feedback on progress. Students can expect a patient, respectful learning environment where questions are always welcome and mistakes are treated as part of learning.
Most importantly, I want students to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they arrived, not just better at maths, but believing in their own ability to succeed.
