About Pronojit
Hi, I'm Pronojit! I've been teaching mathematics for over 7 years, helping students from Classes 1 to 12 build real confidence with numbers — not just memorize formulas, but actually understand why things work the way they do.
I teach across a wide range of curricula, including CBSE, ICSE, IB (MYP & DP), IGCSE, US Common Core, GCSE, Singapore Math, Australian Curriculum, and various state boards. Whether your child is just learning fractions or tackling algebra, geometry, or calculus, I tailor every session to their specific syllabus and learning pace.
My approach focuses on building strong conceptual foundations and innovative problem-solving skills. I genuinely believe math can be fun and exciting once the "why" makes sense — and I love seeing that moment when a tricky topic finally clicks for a student.
Beyond teaching, I also have hands-on experience with competitive exam preparation (IBPS, RRB, SSC, and banking exams), having cleared exams like IDBI Bank, Canara Bank, LIC HFL, IBPS RRB Scale II, and EPFO ASO myself. I hold a B.Sc. in Mathematics with a specialization in Vedic Mathematics — which I love incorporating into lessons for faster, smarter calculations.

My classes are interactive, personalized, and paced according to each student's comfort level — never rushed, never one-size-fits-all. I start by understanding where the student currently stands, then build a learning plan around their specific syllabus, school, and exam requirements.
Each session focuses on breaking down concepts step-by-step using simple language, real-life examples, and visual explanations — so topics like fractions, algebra, geometry, or trigonometry start making sense instead of feeling like a wall of formulas. I encourage students to ask "why" and "how," not just "what," because that's where real learning happens.
Practice is a big part of every class — but smart practice, not endless repetition. I assign targeted problems that reinforce the concept just taught, and we review mistakes together so they become learning points, not just red marks.
For students preparing for school exams, I align lessons with their textbook and exam pattern (CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, etc.). For those aiming at competitive exams like SSC, IBPS, or RRB, I focus on speed, accuracy, and shortcut techniques — including some Vedic Math tricks for faster calculations.
Sessions are conducted online via video call with a digital whiteboard, so it feels just like a one-on-one classroom — clear, engaging, and easy to follow.
