About Malcolm
I am a Mathematics tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematical Sciences. I help university students who feel stuck or overwhelmed by calculus. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying ideas and building strong conceptual understanding. I believe students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind formulas.
In my lessons, calculus is never just theory. I show how derivatives explain rates of change in physics and engineering, and how integrals measure real quantities like distance, work, and growth. Differential equations become understandable when connected to real systems such as circuits and population models. I also use interactive simulations and structured problem-solving methods to make learning active.
I have taught STEM majors and aspiring engineers from many countries. My goal is to build confidence and analytical thinking skills that last beyond exams. Join me to truly master calculus and unlock your potential in problem solving.

My teaching style is calm, patient, and focused on understanding instead of memorizing formulas. I teach Maths as a tool for thinking clearly. Every lesson connects mathematics with technology and real digital systems. I show how algebra and functions relate to simple programming ideas.
Students learn algorithmic thinking by solving problems step by step. We also study discrete mathematics such as logic rules, patterns, and graphs used in computer science. I explain computational processes so students understand what a computer is actually doing. Programming comparisons help make difficult topics easier to imagine.
I support students in explaining their reasoning naturally and comfortably. Many learners know the answer but cannot express it clearly, and I help them build that confidence. We practice both solving and explaining solutions. My goal is strong thinking and clear communication. Let’s make math useful in your daily digital life.
