About Riya
I’m an experienced Math tutor with more than 9 years of helping students refine their analytical skills. My MSc in Actuarial Science provided rigorous training in mathematical modeling and logical reasoning. These foundations guide my teaching approach. Mathematics should challenge the mind and inspire curiosity.
I’ve spent many years directing problem-solving workshops where students collaborate on difficult problems. These sessions teach them to question assumptions and test different strategies. I also coach learners for mathematical competitions. Competition problems often require creativity and deep insight.
Number theory is one of my favorite areas to explore with students. Its puzzles are elegant and surprisingly rich. I frequently work with gifted students and aspiring mathematicians eager to stretch their thinking. Together we analyze problems carefully and uncover clever solutions. My focus is always on strengthening reasoning and building confidence in complex problem analysis. My teaching approach is based on clear explanations and structured learning. Mathematics becomes easier when complex ideas are broken down into smaller parts. This step-by-step method allows students to build confidence while solving problems. It also reduces stress during difficult topics.

Students learn how to analyze equations carefully and apply logical reasoning. This process strengthens their ability to solve unfamiliar problems.
