I graduated Magna cum Laude from UCLA, prior to which I graduated high school as valedictorian. I have been able to excel academically, but also understand what struggling in an academic context feels like. I believe in giving compassion and understanding, since not everyone comes from the same background with the same understanding.

I like to take a personalized approach with each person I am helping. Familiarizing myself with the work, and also their individual learning style. I like to help guide people to understand the topic by helping them to realize the underlying pattern and connection, rather than just the problem at hand. In math, knowing the reasoning behind a process is critical to understanding and being able to perform well in the subject.
