About Uzma
Hello, I'm Uzma! I started tutoring as a way to strengthen my own understanding of the subject I loved the most: math! As I gained more experience, I started working with students who had different learning styles and needs. This encouraged me to change my ways to better adapt and support different individuals! What started as a little gig expanded to a passion for teaching! I love the moment when a concept finally clicks for a student; the look of relief and pride is priceless! Outside of teaching, I enjoy a multitude of hobbies! I prefer to draw or read in my free time, and every now and then, I'll bake a giant cookie just for fun!

I explain the groundworks of concepts and start from the basics to ensure my student understands them 100%.
Lessons are planned ahead of time and in accordance with the child's performance, previous knowledge, and grade level.
I teach the younger audience best and help solidify their foundations in all forms and methods for a smooth sailing into the next grade.
