About Diane
I have a bachelor’s degree in math, and I worked as an actuary for ten years out of college. I started tutoring as a work-study job in college, and have been doing it ever since. Taking actuarial exams was a huge challenge for me, and I had to teach myself many of the concepts. So, I can understand a student who is struggling. I feel like I can explain concepts in a way that students can understand well.

I have been tutoring math for over 35 years. I have experience with students of all levels—from second grade through college. I feel like I can empathize with students who struggle with math, as I have also been there myself. I am able to explain things in a way that make it much easier for my students to understand.
