About David
I adore and respect kids and am able to relate and communicate very well with them. I am very likable and my math knowledge is strong, having completed Calculus I, II, III, IV (Differential Equations) while attending Tulane's Engineering School. Additionally, my math SAT score was in the 99th+ percentile. Along with private tutoring experience, I also raised and tutored 3 daughters, the oldest of whom recently graduated with honors from Duke (yeah, proud dad!). I care and the satisfaction of it clicking in their head makes it all worthwhile.

I try to explain in a manner that the student will understand and, more importantly, will retain the concepts and material. The first step is for me to determine where the issue is in the student's understanding and customize an approach and explanation which will be best to explain and teach the topic with positive reinforcement and encouragement.
