About Liam

I am a legal consultant with over 10 years’ experience in private civil practice.

I am educated to Masters level and hold a Master of Science in Law, Business and Management.

I have professional experience in a wide range of practice areas, including Commercial Disputes, Property Disputes, Residential & Commercial Property, Cohabitation Agreements & Disputes, Wills, Estate Planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Wills & Inheritance Disputes, Probate, Administration of Estates, and applications to the Court of Protection under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

The law is my passion and I enjoy explaining complicated legal principles in simple terms to my clients. That is the purpose of a lawyer. It is undoubtedly one of the most important skills of a lawyer and is something which must be developed with experience and training.

I have been approached to offer advice and support to many school leavers and law students throughout my career. I have always been willing to share my knowledge and experience with others considering a career in law or studying law. It's often helpful to get first-hand knowledge of what it's like inside the legal profession before embarking or continuing on the long journey to qualification.

This platform allows me to share my knowledge and experience with a broader audience and help more people on their incredible journey.

About the lesson

I believe it’s important to understand the individual requirements of each learner (including any existing knowledge and preferred learning methods) and tailor any tuition to those requirements accordingly.

The tuition can take any form you choose. In my experience, I believe people learn best when information is shared in an interactive experience. My tuition style is informal (conversational) and includes learner participation in order for you to get the most out of the session.

You may wish to focus on a particular legal topic or principle you’re finding difficult. Sometimes it can be helpful to talk over your understanding of it (or lack of it) in order for it to become clear in your mind.

My vast professional experience allows me to draw on real-life examples and give context to what can sometimes feel like a minefield of legal concepts and principles.
