About Jules
I gained a PGCE in Secondary Drama back in 1998 and I have had the privilege to experience over 25 years teaching across a variety of age ranges and key stages. I have taught Secondary Drama at KS3, GCSE, BTEC & A Level in mainstream Schools and FE Colleges, Drama/LAMDA in Independent Schools.
I have directed many School productions and I have also taught at weekend Stage Schools, summer holiday camps, community theatre groups and extra curricular drama clubs.
Since 2019 I have made LAMDA teaching my main focus and I am extremely proud of my students results and the growth of my teaching business.

Classes are generally one hour in duration and every Lamda lesson is tailored to the individual to reach their learning goals as well as a working toward a successful Lamda qualification.
I am meticulous in ensuring all the skills & theory appropriate to the chosen exam is taught before tackling the required elements of the Lamda syllabus itself. In short, the learning outcomes will be explored in depth and to a greater degree before work on individual monologues or speeches begin. Giving the learner a comprehensive & broad understanding of everything they will need to know.
Lessons begin with physical & vocal warm up activities, along with drama style games. These activities encourage confidence, spacial awareness, vocal modulation development & expression. They are also build trust.
