About Sam
My name is Sam and I am a Maths tutor Specialising with KS2 and KS3 students. I’ve tutored over 80 students with a 98% Pass rate at GCSE level! Whether you’re struggling at maths and are looking to gain those last marks to pass your exams or are trying to push to your highest ability, I’m confident I can help you achieve whatever your goal may be. I’m passionate about maths and believe anyone can achieve the marks they deserve and I will help to my fullest ability to get you there. I believe a good understanding in maths is vitally important in all facets of life and will set you up to be successful in your future careers and personal lives. The ability to problem solve is very important to help you navigate many obstacles you may encounter in your futures. Even if maths doesn’t come naturally to you, I wholeheartedly believe it’s possible to become a maths whiz and I assure you I will do everything in my power to guide you in any subject you need assistance with!

Hi all! I have A’s in GCSE Maths, English Language, English Literature and Core Science with A-Levels in Business, Economics, furthering my knowledge with mathematics. I’ve worked in 2 schools with students aged 11-18 with all skill-levels including working as an LSA alongside students with SEND and EHCP difficulties. My methods are suited to whatever pace you may need to develop your understanding and knowledge on all maths subjects. Whether you want to strengthen your skills or are struggling to grasp certain topics, I’m here to help and will patiently go through anything you may need a hand with. Our sessions could include, teaching specific topics of interest, helping with homework, doing past papers with you or simply helping you understand basic arithmetic and problem solving to allow you to smash all your goals! I’m DBS checked and am currently working towards my degree to become a qualified maths teacher. Please feel free to get in touch if you’re interested and references are available upon request!
