About Stephen
I am an education studies graduate with Qualified Teacher Status and a PGCE qualification. I have 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring in a variety of educational settings, including schools, museums and community centres. This includes working with elderly people and children with emotional and educational difficulties. I have strong academic skills, a lot of enthusiasm for a wide range of subjects and excellent interpersonal skills. I can bring excitement and positivity to learning, and help students to recognise and develop their own capabilities.

I am passionate about providing individualised learning for students. Each of us is a unique character with our own set of knowledge, skills and beliefs and need support that is tailored to these.
I provide my students with an initial assessment where I can get to know their personality and determine what methods and style would be best suited to their learning. I approach this in a holistic style, taking into account the students’ circumstances and emotional well-being, as I believe educational progress is more successful when learning is integrated with a person’s general lifestyle and mindset.
