About Zoe

Hi there! I graduated with a Bachelors in Chemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, ranked No. 1 in Asia, 28th in the world. I have also attended an exchange study in State University of New York at Stony Brook with a 4.0 GPA. I have nearly 8 years tutoring experience with over 25 individual students in math and science, Mandarin subjects. I am specialised in preparing junior and high school students for college entrance exams including GCSE, IGCSE, IB, SAT, ACT, HKDSE curriculums. I have also experienced in one to one, one to group and online tutoring lessons.

My excellent math and science results have led me to a successful entrance to the world leading university. I have obtained IGCSE Math with grade A*, IGCSE Chemistry and Physics with grade A, IGCSE Chinese with A*, DSE Math with 5 out of 7 and DSE Math Extended Parts 6 of 7. During university, I was involved in many educational/tutoring organization. I had led supplementary math classes (Including Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, etc.) for a class of junior students in Hong Kong Sau Kee Wan Government Middle School for three months. I am also one of the key tutors in A Star International Tutoring center where I constantly teach the above curriculums to International Students from the U.S., U.K. and Asia. I was actively involved in children’s education activities, for instance, I was one of the organizing committees and volunteers for my school’s Huang Shan Service learning trip to teach sciences and do experiments with kids at Hope Schools in rural China in 2013 and 2014.

About the lesson

I constantly exam students, give feedback to student’s performance and help with their additional questions in and after classes. With my strong foundation of math and science, I can help lots of high school students succeed in their academic performance. Personally, I am a friendly, positive, out-going and patient young graduate, I believe everyone is talented.
