About Noel
I have had a long career as a journalist, author and university tutor and now seek to use those skills to help the next generation of students. As a university tutor in feature writing I enjoyed working with international students to help improve their English for successful completion of university study in Australia. As an author, in 2010 I won the Qlueensland Premier's Literary Award for my novel RPM. AS an ESL teacher I love helping students of all ages improve their English speaking and writing skills.

I have impeccable English writing, speaking and grammar skills with 40 years of experience as a journalist, author and university tutor. I am a graduate from TAFE Qld with a Diploma in TESOL teaching. I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate from the University of Southern Queensland with a major in journalism. Typical length of a lesson is 45 minutes to 1 hour. For learners of English I apply the genre method with practical application of language used in everyday life and work situations. Lessons suit from high school through to adult including those acquiring the skills to study at an Australian university.
