About Eleanor
I am a homeschool mom of four with over 12 years of experience teaching early elementary students. Through years of hands-on teaching, I have developed a strong understanding of how children learn to read, write, and spell with confidence.
I follow the Charlotte Mason approach, focusing on literature-based learning, gentle instruction, and meeting each child where they are. I strongly believe that reading is the foundation of all education—because when a child can read well, they gain the ability to learn anything.
My goal is to create a calm, encouraging environment where children can grow in both skill and confidence while developing a lifelong love for learning.

In my lessons, I use a Charlotte Mason-inspired method to teach English in a natural and engaging way.
Students will:
- Build reading skills through carefully selected literature (“living books”)
- Strengthen spelling through repetition, recognition, and gentle practice
- Develop writing skills through narration and guided expression
I focus on short, effective lessons that respect a child’s attention span while building strong foundational skills. My goal is to help children become confident readers and writers without pressure or overwhelm.
With over 12 years of homeschooling experience, I create lessons that are both structured and nurturing—helping your child grow at their own pace.
