About Victoria

I am a qualified and experienced History teacher with a real passion for helping students understand the past and develop confidence in their own ideas and analytical skills. I teach History because I believe it helps young people make sense of the world around them — not simply by learning facts and dates, but by understanding people, power, conflict, and change over time.

I have experience teaching a range of students from GCSE to A Level, including modern European history, political history, Nazi Germany, Russia and the Soviet Union, the World Wars, and French history. I particularly enjoy helping students who may feel overwhelmed by essay-writing or large amounts of content, and I work hard to make complex topics clear, manageable, and interesting.

My lessons are calm, supportive, and adapted to each student’s needs. I aim to help students improve both their subject knowledge and their confidence in writing analytical answers and discussing historical interpretations.

I love teaching History because every topic opens up fascinating questions about human choices, societies, and events that still shape our lives today. It is incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence, deepen their understanding, and begin to enjoy the subject for themselves. Whether you are preparing for exams, improving essay technique, or simply trying to feel more confident in History, I would be delighted to help.

Hello! I am a qualified and experienced History teacher offering engaging and supportive online History tuition for secondary and sixth form students.

I specialise in helping students improve their historical knowledge, essay-writing skills, source analysis, and exam confidence. I have experience teaching a wide range of topics, including modern European history, political history, Nazi Germany, Russia and the Soviet Union, World War I and II, and French history.
