About Hayden
I am a professional educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in History, currently pursuing my Master’s degree. I teach 10th-grade United States History, giving me daily, hands-on experience with classroom expectations, curriculum standards, and student needs. In addition to teaching, I have professional experience working in politics, which allows me to connect historical and political concepts to real-world practice. I bring a structured, professional approach to every lesson, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and student success.

My lessons are designed to make history and political science clear, relevant, and honestly enjoyable. I believe students learn best when they understand why something matters, so I focus on connecting historical events and political ideas to modern life, current events, and students’ interests. I also bring humor into my lessons because learning does not have to be boring to be effective.
As a current 10th grade United States History teacher with a background in Political Science and History, I know how to break down complex topics in a way that makes sense. My sessions are structured, focused, and tailored to each student’s needs, whether that means preparing for a test, improving writing, or building confidence in class. The goal is simple: make the content stick, make it meaningful, and help students succeed without the stress.
