About Erica

Hi, I’m Erica! I have been teaching high school math for 13 years.

I’m a high school math teacher who enjoys helping students turn “I don’t get it” into “I can do this.”

I bring patience, clear explanations, and encouragement to every lesson.

My goal is to help you feel comfortable asking questions, understand what you’re learning, and build confidence in your math skills.

About the lesson

My approach: Patient, clear explanations that break math into manageable steps. I use visuals, guided practice, and questions to build understanding and confidence.

A typical lesson: A quick check-in, examples together, independent practice, and a short review. Lessons follow your needs, from homework help to test preparation.

What sets me apart: As a high school math teacher, I recognize common struggles and help students understand the “why” behind the steps.

Who I teach: Middle and high school students taking Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 who need support, a refresher, or an extra challenge.
