About Kubra
I am a highly experienced Ontario high school teacher with 25 years of classroom experience, specializing in Math and Science education. I provide personalized tutoring for Grade 9–10 Math, Grade 9–10 Science, and Grade 11–12 Chemistry and Biology.
Over the course of my teaching career, I have worked with hundreds of students and have developed a strong understanding of the specific concepts and problem areas that students commonly find challenging. This experience allows me to quickly identify gaps in understanding and explain material in a clear, structured, and approachable way.
My tutoring sessions focus on helping students truly understand the underlying concepts, rather than relying on memorization. I guide students in strengthening their fundamental knowledge, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, which are essential for success in Math and Science courses.
In addition to content support, I also help students develop effective study habits, including how to create clear and organized notes, review material efficiently, and approach tests with confidence.
Students often find that once concepts are explained in a logical and supportive environment, their confidence grows quickly, leading to stronger performance on assignments, tests, and exams.
My goal is not only to help students improve their marks, but also to help them become independent, confident learners who feel capable tackling challenging material.

Lessons focus on developing a strong understanding of key concepts through clear explanations and guided practice. Emphasis is placed on step-by-step problem solving and strengthening fundamental skills, helping students build confidence, think independently, and improve their overall academic performance in grades 9 and 10 math and science courses as well as high school chemistry.
