About Sarah
Hi! I'm a certified high school science teacher with a passion for helping students succeed and gain confidence in science. I earned my bachelor's degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, followed by a master's degree in Science Education. I currently teach high school Biology and Environmental Science, giving me firsthand experience with today's curriculum, state standards, and effective study strategies.
I believe every student learns differently, so I personalize each lesson to fit individual learning styles and goals. Whether you need help catching up in class, preparing for a state assessment, getting ready for college-level science courses, or simply building confidence, I'm here to help. My goal is to make science engaging, understandable, and even fun while helping students develop the skills they need to be successful both in and out of the classroom.
