About Anke
I am a second-year Computer Science student at the University of Pretoria, and my flexible schedule allows me to dedicate meaningful time to helping students achieve their academic goals. I have been tutoring since 2024, shortly after matriculating, and I genuinely enjoy helping learners grow in confidence and understanding. Outside of tutoring and studying, you’ll often find me in my running shoes or on my bike, challenging myself and pushing my endurance to the limit — a mindset I also bring into my teaching.

My tutoring approach is friendly, supportive, and learner-focused. I aim to create a comfortable space where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes while learning. Lessons are structured but flexible, with clear explanations, practical examples, and guided practice. I teach in English and Afrikaans. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level and goals, whether they need help understanding basics, improving marks, or preparing for tests and exams. My online lessons are ideal for high school students in Grades 8–12, including those who feel unsure about maths or want to build confidence and consistency.
