About Josh

I am a guitarist who has performed for three years with several rock and jazz style bands, I have been teaching guitar for three years and I have played music for 8 years and am well versed in theory work

About the lesson

I like to fuse actually playing music with education. After establishing the basics I typically teach the student new skills by teaching them a song that demonstrates said skill and can be used as a way to memorize this skill and to prove that the student is capable of using this skill. After I reasonably certain the student has the skill on their grasp they will be required to create their own song demonstrating the acquired skill.
