About Tom
I’m a medical student at the University of Aberdeen with a passion for helping others learn. I know how tough school can be sometimes, especially when you're juggling multiple subjects, so my goal is to make things as clear and manageable as possible. I achieved straight A’s in all my National 5s, Highers, and Advanced Highers so I’m very familiar with what’s expected at each level and how to prepare effectively for exams. I’ve been through it all myself, and I’m here to help you feel more confident, stay motivated, and reach your full potential. I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to what you need—whether that’s revising content, going over tricky topics, or practising exam techniques. I’m patient, friendly, and genuinely want to see you succeed.

As a straight A student, I understand the demands of the Scottish curriculum and how to succeed in it. My lessons are designed to build confidence, deepen understanding, and improve exam performance in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics from National 5 to Advanced Higher level. I tailor each lesson to the individual student’s needs, from breaking down difficult concepts to tackling tricky exam questions or reinforcing schoolwork etc. Lessons typically last one hour, with flexibility depending on the topic and student’s goals. Lessons are ideal for S3 to S5 students preparing for National 5s and Highers.
