Hi, I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business. I have several years of experience tutoring GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry, and I now offer English tuition with the same high standards and personalised support. My Approach to Tutoring My tutoring style is student-centred, adaptive, and results-driven. I focus on identifying each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then tailoring lessons to their specific learning style. For GCSE English, I work on building core skills in comprehension, analysis, and writing—always linking back to the assessment objectives used in exams. I use a mix of interactive discussion, practice questions, model answers, and structured feedback. I also help students develop planning and time management techniques for essay writing and exam preparation. Lesson Format and Duration Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, though I also offer 90-minute sessions for students who prefer a deeper dive into texts or exam technique. Lessons include a review of previous work, focused learning on one or two key areas, and a recap with feedback and next steps. Qualifications and Experience I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business, and I have previously tutored GCSE students in Biology and Chemistry with great success. My interdisciplinary background allows me to bring both clarity and analytical depth to English tutoring, especially useful when tackling unseen texts, developing argument structure, or understanding themes in literature.
