About Olivia
Hi! I’m Olivia, a 17-year-old tutor dedicated to helping students build the confidence and skills they need to ace their GCSEs. I achieved straight A*/A grades at GCSE and am currently predicted A*, A*, A*, A at A-Level in Economics, Politics, Psychology, and the EPQ. I have a genuine passion for communicating with younger people and helping them achieve their absolute best through focused, hard work. Having recently gone through the GCSE system myself, I know exactly what examiners are looking for. I pride myself on offering a relaxed, approachable, and entirely judgement-free learning environment where every student feels welcome and supported.

I provide a highly personalised, student-centred approach focusing strictly on the unique demands of the GCSE English Language papers. My lessons are typically one hour long, with the flexibility to extend to two hours for intensive exam preparation. I have proven experience helping Year 10 and Year 11 pupils unlock higher grades by targeting the exact skills needed for exam success. Our sessions will focus on:
Targeted Skill Building by Identifying individual areas of worry e.g. mastering tricky creative writing narratives, structuring persuasive non-fiction essays, or analysing complex unseen texts. I create bespoke plans, curating individual lesson paths based on what I learn about the student. As well as helping develop high level exam strategy, practising past papers under timed conditions so exam day feels like second nature. Lessons are available online via video call or in person across the North West and North Wales.
