About Callum

I am a fully qualified secondary school teacher currently teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school. Every day I work with students across KS3, GCSE and A Level, giving me up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum, exam specifications and the skills students need to succeed.

I pride myself on being patient, approachable and supportive. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual, helping them build confidence as well as improve their understanding. My aim is to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.

As a classroom teacher, I regularly prepare students for assessments and examinations, using effective revision techniques, exam-style questions and targeted feedback to help them make progress. Whether a student is aiming to pass, improve their grade or achieve the highest marks, I am committed to helping them reach their potential.

I am fully committed to providing professional, reliable and engaging tuition, helping every student develop both their knowledge and confidence in Computer Science.

About the lesson

Hello! I'm Callum, a qualified secondary school Computer Science teacher with experience teaching students from KS3 through to A Level. I currently teach in a secondary school and have a strong understanding of the GCSE and A Level specifications, helping students build confidence, improve their understanding and achieve their academic goals.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs. Whether you're aiming for top grades, need help understanding difficult topics, or simply want to build your confidence before exams, I adapt my teaching style to suit the way you learn. I use clear explanations, worked examples, interactive questioning and plenty of exam-style practice to ensure students fully understand each topic rather than just memorising answers.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. I teach online using screen sharing and interactive resources, making lessons engaging and effective, or in person for students in the Lancaster and South Lakes area.
