About Leila
My name is Leila, and I am a proud and devoted private tutor. My teaching journey began when I traveled to Spain to teach English as a Foreign Language to both adults and young learners. That experience taught me so much, not only about education, but about connection and communication. It was then that I realized teaching truly brings me joy.
Teaching is my passion, and my goal is to help as many students as possible reach their potential. I have experience tutoring ESL, ELA, French/FSL, and Social Studies. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and certifications in TEFL and DELF, I bring effective, evidence-based teaching methods designed for diverse learners.
Throughout my tutoring journey, I’ve developed a strong understanding of what students need to succeed. Every learner is unique, which is why I create customized lesson plans tailored to individual goals and learning styles. I focus on helping students build confidence, learn new strategies, and develop a solid academic foundation. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where learning feels enjoyable and rewarding. Education should be fun, and I’m here to make that happen! Our teaching methodology is student-centered, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable and confident speaking French.
