About Anthea

My name is Anthea, and I've spent the last two years immersed in the vibrant culture of South Korea, teaching English. Despite having a degree in commerce, my heart found its calling in the field of education.

My journey into teaching began as a mere opportunity, but it quickly transformed into a passion. Witnessing the transformative power of education firsthand, particularly in the realm of language acquisition, ignited a fire within me. Each day presented a new opportunity to inspire, empower, and guide students on their language learning journey.

While my background in commerce equipped me with valuable skills, it's my experiences in the classroom that have truly shaped me. The joy of seeing a student grasp a challenging concept or gain confidence in expressing themselves in a new language is unparalleled. It's this sense of fulfillment and the profound impact that education can have on individuals' lives that fuels my passion for teaching.

As I continue to pursue my calling in education, I am committed to creating dynamic and inclusive learning environments where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

In my classes, students can expect a supportive learning environment where their individual needs and learning styles are prioritized. I tailor lessons to maximize engagement and progress, utilizing interactive activities, multimedia resources, role-playing exercises, and real-life scenarios. Active participation is encouraged through lively class discussions.

What sets my classroom apart is my dedication to fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation. I integrate diverse perspectives and cultural elements into lessons, creating a unique and enriching learning experience. Additionally, I leverage technology to enhance lessons and communication, ensuring students remain engaged and connected both inside and outside the classroom.
