As an experienced English educator and professional writer, I bring more than ten years of experience helping students improve their reading, writing, and English fluency. My lessons are tailored to each learner’s goals — from grammar and composition to creative writing and ESL. I aim to make every student feel confident, capable, and inspired to express themselves clearly in English.

Hi, I’m Kellie — an experienced English and writing teacher who helps students of all ages become confident communicators. I teach reading, writing, grammar, and English as a Second Language (ESL) to children ages 6–17 and adults 18+. My lessons are warm, creative, and personalized to each learner’s goals — whether you’re mastering essay writing, building reading comprehension, preparing for tests, or improving your English fluency. I combine a structured approach with real-world connection, using stories, conversation, and practical exercises to make learning engaging and effective. My goal is to help every student feel supported, curious, and proud of their progress. I believe language learning should be both enjoyable and empowering. My approach focuses on: Personalized lessons for every skill level and learning style Strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure Reading comprehension and writing confidence through creative practice Conversational English and pronunciation for ESL learners Encouragement and constructive feedback in a patient, supportive environment Every student deserves to feel capable and inspired — and I’m here to help them get there. Experience More than 10 years of professional experience in English, writing, and editing. 6 years of experience teaching reading, writing, and ESL to children, teens, and adults. Background in journalism, creative, academic, and business writing, blogs, communications, and content strategy. Skilled at helping students strengthen clarity, confidence, and critical thinking.
