About Kamakshi

I hold a Master’s degree in Political Science and am currently pursuing B.Ed (English & SST). My passion for English and teaching has inspired me to guide students from Classes 3 to 12 in grammar, writing, reading, and literature for the past two years.

I believe every student can excel with the right guidance, clarity, and encouragement. My classes are designed to make English simple, engaging, and easy to understand. I focus on building a strong foundation in language skills while helping students gain confidence in expressing themselves.

Through my lessons, students learn not only to improve their marks but also to enjoy the subject and think creatively. I aim to make every class supportive, motivating, and result-oriented.

My English classes are interactive, personalized, and easy to follow. I focus on improving grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading, and literature through clear explanations, examples, and practical exercises.

Each lesson is planned according to the student’s level and school syllabus. I use creative methods, short assessments, and regular feedback to strengthen understanding and retention.

Along with language skills, I help students develop confidence, critical thinking, and clear expression in both written and spoken English. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and meaningful — helping students achieve consistent improvement and a genuine love for the subject.

  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

English has always felt like a doorway to new worlds for me. It started with storybooks in my childhood — I would get lost in the adventures and dream about using language to tell my own stories. Over time, my love for reading turned into a fascination with grammar, expression, and communication. Teaching English is my way of sharing that magic, helping others use words not just correctly, but confidently.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

I was lucky to have teachers who saw something in me before I saw it in myself. They encouraged me, corrected me gently, and made learning exciting. That kindness stayed with me. Now, when I teach, I try to be that person for my students — the one who believes in them when they’re unsure, and celebrates their progress, no matter how small.
  • How does your work help society?

I see English as a bridge — it connects people to opportunities, ideas, and cultures. When I help a student improve their language skills, I’m not just teaching vocabulary or grammar; I’m giving them tools to communicate, to explore, and to participate more confidently in the world around them. It’s a small step, but it can change someone’s life.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is my biggest inspiration. Even after becoming the President of India, he called himself a teacher first. His belief in the power of education, his humility, and his way of connecting with young minds remind me that teaching is about more than subjects — it’s about lighting a spark that stays for life.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

When I’m not teaching, I’m usually surrounded by books. I love reading novels, biographies, and anything that makes me think differently. Writing is another passion — I often jot down short stories or poems. On lighter days, you’ll find me enjoying music, going for quiet nature walks, or experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

A year ago, I started teaching a student who was terrified of speaking English in front of others. In the first class, they barely said more than “hello.” We worked slowly — reading aloud, practising small conversations, and even laughing at our mistakes together. Three months later, that same student stood in front of their school and gave a short speech in English. The pride in their voice and the joy on their face reminded me exactly why I love teaching — because I get to witness these moments of transformation.

Every learner has a unique story, and I’d love to be part of yours — guiding you, encouraging you, and celebrating every step of your journey in learning English.
