I have enjoyed the past thirty years as as an educator. I always conduct myself in a professional, courageous and respectful manner. I believe that all students are valued learners. I have over thirty years experience teaching English as well as many other subject areas. I have taught English at the Elementary, Junior High and Senior High levels. I have taught multi grade classes at both the Elementary and Junior High levels. I always use a variety of instructional methods in my teaching. I always believe that all of my instruction should focus on helping students to achieve success. I am a strong advocate of using modern teaching strategies like Active Reading in helping to engage students in meaningful learning .
