About Sumaira
Hello! I’m Sumaira, an experienced and dedicated educator with a Master’s degree in English Language & Literature, a B.Ed., and an Early Years Education Diploma.
I have several years of experience in teaching and tutoring students of different ages and learning levels. I have worked as a teacher, home tutor, and school coordinator, and I have taught English, Mathematics, and Science to primary and secondary-level students, including students in Dubai.
I believe every student can learn successfully when they receive the right guidance, encouragement, and teaching approach. My lessons are friendly, structured, and adapted to each student’s individual needs. I focus on making concepts easy to understand, encouraging questions, building confidence, and helping students become more independent learners.
Whether your child needs help understanding difficult concepts, improving academic skills, preparing for assessments, or simply gaining confidence in a subject, I will provide patient and supportive guidance throughout the learning process.

I use a student-centered and interactive approach to make learning clear, engaging, and comfortable. I first understand each student’s learning level, strengths, and areas that need improvement, and then adapt my lessons according to their individual needs.
My teaching methodology includes clear explanations, examples from everyday life, guided practice, questioning, revision, and regular feedback. I encourage students to ask questions and participate actively rather than simply memorizing information. For younger learners, I use simple explanations and engaging activities to maintain their interest and build confidence.
A typical lesson is around 45–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age, level, subject, and learning requirements. I can also adjust the lesson duration when needed.
I hold a Master’s degree in English Language & Literature and a B.Ed., along with an Early Years Education Diploma. I have several years of teaching and tutoring experience, including home tutoring in Dubai, where I taught English, Mathematics, Geography, History and Science to primary and secondary-level students. I have also worked as a teacher and school coordinator, giving me experience in lesson planning, student support, assessment, and academic guidance.
My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary students who want to improve their understanding, strengthen their academic skills, prepare for school assessments, or become more confident in their subjects.
