About Kamilee
I’m a dedicated, approachable English and literature teacher with over 15 years of experience working with students in grades 6–12 and in college writing labs. I love helping learners become more confident readers, stronger writers, and clearer thinkers. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and flexible—I adapt every lesson to meet your needs and goals. Outside of teaching, I live on a small homestead I’m working to build, where I care for two dogs, a cat, 16 chickens, and 20 ducks. I enjoy reading, traveling, and learning about all kinds of topics—from literature to DIY building projects. I believe great learning often starts with curiosity and conversation, and I bring that spirit to every lesson.

Hello! I’m a passionate and experienced English and Literature teacher with over 15 years of classroom experience, working primarily with students in grades 6–12. I’ve also supported college students as a writing lab tutor, helping them build confidence and clarity in academic writing. Whether you're tackling high school literature, refining an essay, or preparing for college-level writing, I can help you feel more capable and confident.
In addition to my classroom work, I teach ESL , where I’ve had the joy of connecting with learners from diverse backgrounds. I love meeting people and customizing lessons that match your goals—whether you're strengthening grammar, analyzing literature, or preparing for an exam.
My lessons are warm, focused, and student-centered. I break down complex ideas into manageable steps and encourage thoughtful reading, confident writing, and real-world communication skills. I offer flexible scheduling and online lessons tailored to your pace and needs.
