About Erin
Hi, I’m Erin—an experienced English teacher and passionate learning coach. With over a decade of classroom experience teaching high school English (including AP Literature and Language), I specialize in helping students grow their confidence, sharpen their writing, and find their voice. I’ve worked with diverse learners in grades 9–12, designing creative, student-centered lessons that blend classic literature with modern themes and real-world writing skills. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching and a Bachelor’s in English Education with a minor in Writing. My professional background also includes experience as a college writing tutor and an assistant editor for a university literary journal—so whether you're working on an essay, a research paper, or creative writing, I'm here to help! In our sessions, you can expect patience, encouragement, and a personalized approach tailored to your goals. I’m passionate about building confidence through critical thinking and clear communication—and I love helping students discover that writing can be both meaningful and fun.
