About Megan
I'm a word nut with a specialism in medieval and renaissance literature. I love Shakespeare, and one of my great pleasures is demystifying it for puzzled pupils. I'm a great reader of big Victorian novels, and if you'd like to get to know the classics I'll be able to help. Besides teaching, I run poetry groups and writing retreats for children.

My teaching is based on tried and tested pedagogic principles. You will be taught rigorous and structured lessons with a warm and understanding approach. Curiosity and creativity are paired and balanced with a firm understanding of the fundamentals of the English language.
As a classroom teacher of English Language, Literature, Media Studies and ESOL, I can help you with improving your skills and achieving your academic goals.
Lessons are typically an hour long, and conducted online, with homework given.
