About Kenneth Marl

I am an experienced and dedicated mathematics educator with over six years of teaching experience as a Guest Lecturer at Batangas State University, where I have taught Engineering Mathematics and CAD since 2020. My teaching experience has strengthened my ability to explain challenging concepts clearly, assess student understanding, and adapt my approach to meet individual learning needs.

I believe that every student can improve in mathematics with the right guidance, patience, and structured approach. My goal is not simply to help students get the correct answer, but to help them understand the process, build confidence, and become independent problem-solvers.

I bring a professional, patient, and encouraging attitude to every lesson. I carefully prepare for each session, communicate clearly, and provide constructive feedback to help students recognize both their progress and areas for improvement.

Whether a student is struggling with a fundamental concept or wants to strengthen their mathematical skills, I create a supportive learning environment where they can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn without feeling discouraged.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is structured, patient, and student-centered. I believe students learn mathematics best when concepts are broken down into clear, manageable steps and connected to problems they can understand and relate to. Rather than simply giving students formulas or answers, I guide them through the reasoning behind each solution, so they develop confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills.
I use a combination of direct instruction, guided practice, questioning, visual examples, and real-world applications. I first assess the student's current understanding and identify specific areas where they need support. I then adjust my explanations, pacing, and practice activities to match the student's learning needs. I encourage students to explain their reasoning and learn from mistakes, creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions.
