About Xu
Hi! I’m a mechanical engineer with a 3.7/4 GPA and a real passion for helping students understand math and physics. I know these subjects can feel overwhelming, so I focus on explaining things simply and patiently. I speak English and Mandarin, and a little bit of German and Italian. I’m easygoing, supportive, and always willing to adjust my teaching style to what each student needs. I offer both online and in-person lessons for middle and high school students.

My Approach as a Tutor Teaching Methodology: I’m a mechanical engineer (GPA 3.7/4) with experience in both undergraduate and graduate studies. I understand what students struggle with and focus on clear explanations, patience, and customized lessons. I teach in English and Mandarin, online or in person.
