About Katie

I’m a passionate and experienced tutor with a strong academic background, having been a distinguished student at the University of Oxford. I specialise in French and German, and offer GCSE/ A-Level teaching in English Language, English Literature, and Religious Studies. I also offer tailored support to prospective Oxbridge applicants, including Personal Statement (new spec) revision, Admissions Test preparation, and Mock Interview provision.

My teaching approach is student-centred, focusing on building confidence, fostering curiosity, and developing a deep understanding of each subject. I pride myself on creating a positive and engaging learning environment, where you can feel comfortable to ask questions and to challenge yourself!

With my experience and commitment to excellence, I aim to help students not only achieve their academic goals but also to the learning process. Having graduated from the University of Oxford, I learnt to relish critical thinking and complex topic acquisition; and now, I hope to inspire this same joy and motivation in others.

Having graduated from the University of Oxford, where I was a distinguished Modern Languages and Linguistics student, I have the academic expertise and the teaching experience to support all pupils through their studies in English Language, English Literature, French, German, and Linguistics. Other subject-specific tutoring is available on a discretionary basis - I strongly encourage alternative enquiries!
