About Francesca
Hello!
My name is Francesca and I am an Elementary English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher. I have been teaching in various elementary schools for the past 4 years. Prior to being a teacher, I have tutored for a variety of companies including Sylvan, TutorBright, and EdVenture Clubhouse. Although English is my expertise, I am also open to tutoring in Math, Social Studies, and many more subjects.
I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. I also believe that students should not have to feel anxiety when stepping into the classroom and/or performing tasks such as tests and assignments. My hope is to help guide you in understanding what seems like difficult concepts, to something more simple and relatable!

As a tutor, I work with both the student and their families to allow for a great learning experience. I enjoy communicating and understanding the needs of the learner.
The process with me will go at following:
-Meet with the student and understand the concerns and goals they have with their learning.
-Organize and develop a plan using various engaging and age appropriate resources.
-Provide aide based on availability of the client.
-Give instruction with 5 to 10 minutes of check in time before, or after the session to understand where the students are at with their learning.
I believe that learning should not be scary, overwhelming, or boring. I ensure my students and families that I will provide them the best learning experience that I can and have fun while doing so!
