About Aubrey
If you or your loved one is in need of an experienced, high-quality, online teacher or tutor you have come to the right place. I have been teaching in various roles since 2020. As a substitute I have taught in almost every grade and subject from K-12. As a classroom teacher I have taught kindergarten, fourth grade, middle school (6&8), and a multi-grade classroom composed of 3-5 graders. I have my bachelor's degree in teaching and early learning with a focus on elementary education and a master's in science education with an emphasis on middle school grades. I also have extensive knowledge in math at the K-8 levels. I work remotely (however adjustments to that could be made depending on your situation) and my standard fee is $40 per hour. To give you an overview of a math lesson with me; after identifying struggle points in your current learning we will work together using a basic “I do“ “we do” “you do” sequence of practice that you would see in your classroom learning or even on a test. After you have mastered those practice questions I would include some learning games to reinforce your learning. I may give practice problems to work on on your own before we meet again.
Other subjects would follow a similar sequence of learning just with more demonstration.
