About Tashonda
Hi! I’m Tashonda, an educator and mom who genuinely loves helping children learn. I have a Master’s degree in Curriculum & Instruction and a background in elementary education. I believe learning should feel encouraging, meaningful, and engaging, and I especially enjoy helping students who may need a little extra time, support, or a different approach. Outside of teaching, I love reading, nature, creativity, and finding hands-on ways to make learning come alive. I’m excited to get to know your child and help them grow in confidence as a learner!

My lessons are personalized to each student’s needs, learning style, and current skill level. I use engaging, hands-on activities and clear instruction to build strong foundations in reading and math. We’ll work at a comfortable pace while also challenging students to grow, with regular review and practice built into each lesson. My goal is to help students not only improve academically, but also become more confident and independent learners.
