About Kim
I have a bachelors degree from Fordham University where I studied Sociology and Elementary Education. I hold two Masters degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University. One in Learning Disabilities and the other in Educational Leadership. In my 23 year career, I have worked as an elementary teacher, special education teacher, LDTC and school administrator. I have also provided tutorin services to students in grades K-6.

I use a strengths based approach with my students. I build on what student's do well as a strategy to strengthen areas of weakness. I ensure that lessons reflect both student interests and preferred learning styles. I am flexible and patient and take great joy in seeing students grow and make progress.
