About Maya
Hello! My name is Maya. I am an Early Childhood Educator and an experienced tutor. I use a program that incorporates multi-sensory tools and games to assist my student with English reading, spelling and writing. My goal is to help children build confidence, master English and have fun doing it.

I use a tried and true method developed by two elementary school teachers in Ontario who developed this program specifically for students with Dyslexia.
This program has been proven effective for over a decade.
The program I use scaffolds and builds in a predictable and logical way. I implement proven techniques such as easy to remember rules and lots of review to help students achieve mastery of reading, writing and spelling.
I use a workbook, a reading book and simple multi-sensory tools.
I am an empathetic and engaging tutor, experienced in teaching students with anxiety and ADHD.
